Maternal Love Is Absolute And Eternal
It is said that of all the ways to love, maternal love is the strongest. The love between mother and child is born immediately after birth, a bond to unite two bodies and souls. Maternal love is absolute and eternal.
When we say nature is wise, one of the things we refer to is the bond between mother and child. A mother’s instinct to protect her offspring awakens the moment she learns that she is pregnant. Over the next nine months, the child will become the most precious thing in the mother’s world – even though the woman has yet to see the baby.
Babies are born with a certain instinct for survival, and they use a few strategies and tricks to encourage the adults around them to protect and care for them. This is the case, for example, with a smile reflex.
But the relationship between mother and child is different. It goes far beyond a child’s instincts for survival. A healthy relationship based on unconditional love, affection, and respect grows into happy children.
Happy children grow into happy adults
A bond of attachment will be formed between the mother and the child, which will have a greater impact on both parties than almost any other relationship experienced in life. A child’s relationship with their mother is vital and affects how the child treats other people during their lifetime.
The mother offers unconditional love that is not dependent on the circumstances or characteristics of the child. The child’s relationship with his mother arises from love, and no courtship phase is needed in this regard.
A child does not have to win the love of his mother. This gives the child an extra dose of self-confidence that stems from the feeling that we are worthy of love because of who we are and not because of what we do.
How can a future mother love something she doesn’t know yet? How can he love something so small? Because the child is already part of the mother and fills a gap that the mother was not aware of.
As the woman assumes the role of mother, she reveals a whole new side of herself. She is even stronger and willing to sacrifice everything for her child. As a biological mechanism, this bond is vital. A baby is unable to survive on its own, and needs an adult to feed, protect, and take care of itself until it is able to take responsibility for its own life.
Maternal love is absolute and eternal
Mythology and religions often refer to absolute love and the power of motherhood between mother and child.
One example is the story of Demeter, the goddess of Greek mythology of harvest, grain, and living plants. When Hades robbed Persephone, Demeter’s daughter, Demeter neglected the protection of the country’s growth in search of his daughter and brought about the seasons.
Another example comes from the Catholic doctrine of the story of the Virgin Mary. Mary becomes pregnant even though she is a virgin, and soon sees her son die on the cross. He then defeats himself as Satan, who is unable to look at the Virgin Mary.
For thousands of years, we have honored this unbroken bond and the strength that the bond brings to the people who share it. This unconditional love allows the child to grow up in a safety net.
The mother loves her child just the way she is, without trying to change her, and helps her move forward full of self-confidence.
